Former Sodom drummer Christian Dudeck (aka Chris Witchhunter) died on 07 September 2008. The information allegedly was conveyed by his mother. Here's the message left on official Sodom Myspace page:

IMPORTANT NEWS!!!!
Dear Sodomaniacs,
today we received the message that CHRIS WITCHHUNTER is dead. We are stunned and we don..t know what exactly happens but Chris..Mother told us that Chris died last night.
We will give you more informations next time...

A new Sodom tribute album is out. The title of the album is "In the Sign of Sodom - Sodomaniac Tribute" and it consists of all songs in "In the Sign of Evil" + Proselytism Real from "Obsessed by Cruelty". It's the 4th anniversary of Sodometal!

Tom Angelripper sings in two songs on the bass-only album "Hellbassbeaters" by Markus Grosskopf of Helloween. He sings in "Godless Gods" and "Dead from the Eyes Down".

Sodom has shot a new video clip for the song "City of God". The video clip contains footage from Istanbul and South American (or Mexican) shows.

Tom Angelripper was in the studio for recording a song called "Here Comes the Pain" in the new Dezperadoz album.

The Final Sign of Evil is going to be released on double-LP on 01/February/2008.
